There’s nothing like a gooey, cheesy pizza pie, am I right? Delaware has no shortage of excellent pizzerias, but there’s one in particular that serves up some of the best pizza in the state. Check it out!
Nick and Joan Caggiano opened Nicola Pizza in 1971. It's been a favorite of locals and visitors alike ever since.
Nick created a unique menu item - the Nic-O-Boli. It's somewhat like a calzone, but so, so much better. The crust is baked to perfection and everything about this beauty is homemade with the best ingredients.
Of course, the pizza here is amazing. The homemade sauce is made with plum tomatoes, so it's just the right amount sweet - never bitter. The crust is crispy, but with a nice chew. And the toppings are high-quality and plentiful.
Sadly, Joan passed away in May, 2017. The pizzeria still continues to be owned and operated by family, providing the same great service and delicious pizzas that it's known for.
