Georgetown is known for being diverse and unique compared to the rest of Sussex County. There is a large immigrant population that help support our local agriculture industry and bring a lot of great culture to Slower Lower Delaware. One incredible result is that Georgetown, otherwise a sleepy, historic colonial town, is filled with some of the best Mexican food you’ll find on the east coast. Most of these restaurants are hole in the wall joints and easy to miss, so make it a point to track down each one and fulfill your summer taco bucket list.
