We've all spent hours combing over maps hoping to find the best route to get to the coast.
3. Complained about the . . . smell.

Southern Delaware is full of farms. While we love the vast fields and open space, sometimes that chicken or pig smell can get to be a bit much.
4. Run from greenheads on the bay.

The Delaware Bay beaches are some of the state's best-kept secrets, but you've got to know when to visit to enjoy the lack of crowds, unique wildlife, and quiet sound of water. If you go when there is a west wind, or at dawn or dusk, you might be chased away by greenheads.

Funland is the place we all go to relive our youth! Although, now, it's a little harder to enjoy the rides that spin, twist, and drop.
7. Argued about ketchup or malt vinegar.

8. Had a weird night in Dewey . . .

Each of our beach towns has something different to offer. Rehoboth is the lively spot for boardwalk fun, Dewey is the party town with venues like the Starboard always bustling, Lewes is historic and great for nature lovers, and Bethany is that perfect balance of family-friendly and a quiet resort.
