When Thierry and Nathalie Langer moved from France to Lewes a few years ago, they struggled to find one of their favorite foods – Kaiserschmarrn – anywhere in the United States. Like any good entrepreneurs, they realized that there was a big gap in Delaware’s foodie market, and they opened their Rehoboth Beach cafe, Kaisey’s Delights, in 2015. Since then, the adorable pink shop just off of the Boardwalk has been bustling with customers lured in by the Cafe’s reputation and the unique treat of finding Kaiserschmarrn in Delaware!
So, go ahead and treat yourself to the only Kaiserschmarrn you’ll find in the area! This fluffy treat is unbelievable, and you’ll soon be addicted to the Kaisy’s and the fresh marmalade that you’ll want to pile on top. After just one visit, it will be clear why Kaisy’s made our Top Pancakes in Delaware list, even though it’s not technially a pancake at all.
