Delaware is home to so many stunning sights that it’s hard to uncover them all. One such adventure that isn’t nearly as appreciated as it should is is the hike over the landmark Indian River Inlet Bridge. This beautiful bridge has a bit of a troubled history (more on that later) but the views of the Atlantic Ocean, Indian River Inlet, and the Rehoboth/Dewey area are some of the best views in the state. This short walk is easy and paved, so just about everyone can enjoy the Indian River Inlet Bridge hike!
This beautiful bridge hike is one of the most unique strolls in Delaware, but I feel like it’s my responsibility to also let you know there is a chance the bridge is haunted. How so? Well, read a bit about its cursed history to find out the story of this stunning landmark bridge.
