There are so many beautiful mansions that are scattered throughout all three of Delaware’s counties, and that’s after redevelopment and land division removed some of the largest estates from the early 20th century. Take a step back in time and look at what some of these historic Delaware homes looked like back in the 1930s.
What’s your favorite of the many historic Delaware homes? I am in love with the crumbling Jehu Reed House. Though it is falling down and possibly scheduled for demolition, it’s one of my favorite sites in all of the First State.
