When it comes to finding the best dining at the Delaware beaches, there are endless options. Up north, the Buttery in Lewes is an all time classic. Some people will take Gus and Gus burgers over anything else in the state, and others prefer elegant dining on their vacation. When you’re looking for a real treat, head down to Fenwick Island to find one of the best restaurants in Delaware – Catch 54. Not only do they offer outstanding food that will blow your tastebuds away, but the views from this harborside restaurant are the best in the state.
Catch 54 is one of Fenwick Island's best destinations for foodies and nature lovers.
You'll probably have to wait for a table if you don't make reservations ahead of time, but their lively bar area has a great happy hour, so you can enjoy some socializing to get your night started.
I hope you brought your appetite, because you'll want to eat everything you see. Start off with some of their delicious, fresh oysters - however you like them!
Catch 54 serves a variety of seafood and landfood dishes, from fresh local tuna steaks to juicy and tender steak steaks, so treat yourself to something special.
As you can expect from a Fenwick restaurant, the crabcakes here are out of this world! There's hardly any filler - just flavorful crab meat fresh from local mariners.
If you're not a seafood person, you'll still love the options on the menu. Their french dip is outstanding, as are their burgers, steaks, and salad dishes.
Don't forget to save room for dessert! Pies, cakes and cobblers are all made in-house, and the seasonal rotation means you've got to try something new every time you come here.
Catch 54 is located at 38931 Madison Ave., Selbyville, DE 19975, and you can easily get there from downtown Fenwick Island or Ocean City, Maryland.
Catch 54 opens Monday through Friday at 4:30 p.m., and at noon on Saturday and Sunday. They’re open until 10 p.m. every night. Right now, sunset is around 8 p.m., so plan your dinner reservations accordingly to catch the best views.
