While Delaware is known across the country as one of the smaller states, there is still a wide variety of outdoor exploration to be enjoyed. There are various outdoor adventures and activities in Delaware open to guests of all ages, from meandering across the 25+ miles of coastline to biking, boating, camping, and more. There are a variety of seasonal activities at Alapocas Run State Park, from hiking and rock climbing to wildlife watching and biking. Get lost for a quick hike through the Alpacas Woods before snapping some photos of the Blue Granite Cliffs. But perhaps the best part of this entire park is the waterfalls along the Brandywine River. Hiking along the Northern Delaware Greenway trail, you’ll have the best vantage point to see the waterfalls up close.
What has become a local staple for the Wilmington community, Constitution Yards Beer Garden is a seasonal spot where people flock to in order to enjoy the summer months. Grab a beer or cocktail with views of the river as you unwind after a long day.
