There’s An Adventure Park Hiding In The Middle Of A Delaware Forest And You Need To Visit
Delaware is full of adventure, whether you prefer to see the state by kayak, on foot, or even via historic railroad. But, did you know that you can now see our beautiful state from way above? Delaware’s State Parks are among the best maintained and supported State Parks in the country, and Lum’s Pond State Park is no exception. At this beautiful state park in Bear, Delaware, you can experience a once-in-a-lifetime escapade with the Go Ape treetop adventure. As you swing through the trees and look down at the beautiful park below, you’ll notice kayakers, hikers and picniers out enjoying our stunning state park system. After your excursion, your group can hike the pondside trails, try your hand at disc golf, or just relax by the water with a nice picnic lunch.
In addition to the once-in-a-lifetime adventure that is Go Ape Lums Pond, the park offers nearly 20 miles of trails (with half being multi-purpose), picnic areas, a nature center that’s open in the summer from 12pm-6pm, affordable rental of rowboats, canoes, kayaks and pedal boats from May 1 through September.
