One cool thing about living in Delaware is that you’re never too far away from anything, really. Even if you live way up in New Castle County, you can set aside some time for day trips down to Sussex County, and vice-versa. There are so many reasons to get out and explore other corners of the state – you never know what you’ll discover. Take, for example, Georgetown. This small town in the heart of Delaware farmland is one of the best diverse dining destinations in the state! Take a peek at all the great cuisine that the town has to offer and plan to head down here for a great meal.
Of course, since this is Delaware, you can find some good seafood. Try JD Shuckers for crabs, clams, and more.
Diners at this Georgetown restaurant are just as happy with a casual slice of pizza as they are with a flavorful chicken or seafood dish. There's something for everyone on the menu.
If you're looking for the best BBQ around, head to Fat Daddy's.
This smoke shack is located on the outskirts of town, but I swear you can smell their smokers going for miles!

Finally, it's no secret that Georgetown has the best Latin American cuisine in the state, and Jalapeño is the place to go for amazing homestyle dishes.
Come by for the best enchiladas in the region, or treat yourself to a couple of tacos on the next Taco Tuesday. You can't go wrong with any of the dishes here.
