It’s worth every penny though, to support the park and breathe freely.
Welcome to a forest adventure! Out in Brandywine Creek State Park, a trail named Rocky Run Loop runs through with some amazing views.
Rocky Run Loop runs about 3.2 miles, without much elevation gain but with plenty of rocks on the path. The trail is rated as moderately difficult, and is usually used for hiking and mountain biking.
On the bridge, you're treated to a beautiful overlook of the water, the mossy rocks, and a break in the forest. On the route, you can also enjoy a series of small waterfalls, just loud enough to keep you relaxed.
The trail follows through two clear creaks, Rocky Run and Hurricane Run, each having little waterfalls and rock features that will entertain any age of hiker. Who doesn't love a little waterfall on their hikes?
Between the moss, the forest, and the waterfalls, this trail is perfect for a great little day trip. Out here, the troubles of the world can fade for a while as you enjoy the nature around you.
Dogs are allowed to use the trail, as long as they're leashed and nearby. While you're here, make sure you take everything with you that you bring out. We want to make sure this park stays as clean and natural as possible.
