While Delaware’s official state dessert is peach pie, there are plenty of us out here who could make an argument for peach ice cream. Our state is in love with peaches and with ice cream, and in the summertime, it only makes sense to combine them! One Delaware orchards has been providing the peaches for the best ice cream in the state for years, and they celebrate it every year during their Peach Ice Cream Day.
Fifer Orchards has been growing some of Delmarva's best peaches since 1919.
They've teamed up with Vanderwende Farm Creamery to make it farm-to-cow-to-cone. You don't get any fresher than this!

Fifer's customers love their peach ice cream so much that the orchard has begun hosting "Peach Ice Cream Day" every summer. This year, the celebration will be held on Saturday, August 11.
Peach pies, cookies, cobblers, jams and more will be on display at this peachy keen festival. Bring your appetite, because your tastebuds are going to want to go wild!

Fifer Orchards is located at 1919 Allabands Mill Rd, Camden Wyoming, DE 19934, and right now they’re open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays. Make it a point to visit before ice cream season ends!
