When it comes to planning a beach day, Delawareans tend to wait until Fall to get out on the sand. The crowds in Rehoboth, Lewes, and Dewey are hard enough to deal with during the hot summer months, and we tend to wait for the more relaxed Local Summer, after labor day. If you really miss the ocean and can’t wait for your dose of Vitamin Sea, head to one of the only remote, quiet beaches along the Delaware Coast – the Fenwick Island State Park beach.
