Delaware’s most famous candy shop, Dolles Candyland, started as a dream nearly one hundred years ago. When Thomas Pachides and Rudolph Dolle purchased an old YMCA building on the boardwalk 93 years ago, they had no idea they were starting a business that would become the most beloved in the state.

For nearly a century, the Dolles Candyland sign has towered high over the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk.

The story of the most famous Delaware candy shop begins in 1926 when two candy makers opened a shop in town. By the next year, they had purchased a building on the Boardwalk, and a legend was born.
Today, more than 90 years later, Dolles Candyland has joined with Ibach's By The Sea to create a candy brand that everyone will recognize.
