Now that it’s summertime, Delawareans are dropping their boats in the water and getting ready for their days on the water. While it’s a blast to fish, sail, and boat out on Delaware’s bays, the best part of a day on the boat is feasting afterwards. While plenty of us set crab traps and have our own beachfront dinners, there are going to be days when the crabs aren’t falling for it. On those days, you’ll want to head to one of these delicious dockside restaurants in Delaware.
Please note, Hammerheads Dockside and JP’s on the Wharf are temporarily closed.
Hammerheads is a Dewey Beach bar and restaurant, and their Indian River Inlet location is the perfect spot to dock and dine. Enjoy entertainment in the evenings or just refuel with a hearty lunch during a day on the water. You'll float back over again and again this summer!

Crabby Dicks isn't a place to dock-and-dine, but it offers waterfront dining with a great view of the Delaware City ferry dock. Watch the boats come back and forth from Pea Patch Island as you feast on crab-themed goodies. Be sure to try their crab dip!
Harpoon Hanna's is a slower lower landmark. This dockside spot draws people from all over Delaware and Maryland to enjoy dockside dining, kayaking, boating and more on the the Cove.

Grain is located right at the Summit North Marina, so upstate boaters can enjoy a great meal after a day on the water, too. This new, trendy spot is known for delicious burgers and the freshest ingredients around.
On the Rocks is located right near the Ferry terminal, so it's a great place to dine when you're waiting for a ride. Try their crispy wings or their loaded fries if you feel like treating yourself to some tasty bar food.
