10 Thoughts Everyone From Delaware Has When Growing Up
Growing up in Delaware has its ups and downs. We live in a small state, which means we get to know everyone, and we get to know everything pretty well. Though some of us grew up in Wilmington and others in Gumboro, we’ve got a few things in common. How many of these thoughts bring you back to your childhood?

Delawareans know that chickens make GREAT pets, and they're so much fun to hang out with. Still, though... nobody likes cleaning out the coop, and the smell from the big poultry farms is just terrible.

Delaware's weather is unpredictable. This past year, winter extended well into April, and in the past, storms, blizzards and heat waves haven't paid much attention to the calendar. It's always a little weird trying to plan an outfit in advance in this state.

We've all ignored our Mom's reminder to reapply after swimming in the ocean.

There's nothing worse than getting burnt on your first day at the beach.
