If you’ve hung out in the First State at all, you know our residents are full of Delaware State Pride. And why wouldn’t we be? Delaware is the BEST at so many different things, and there are a ton of tasks that Delawareans do better than anyone else. What else would you add to this list?
For real! Have you seen Mt Cuba's wildflower celebration in April? Or Winterthur's fairy garden, or the incredibly ornate, organized gardens at Nemours? The Hagley Estate has some incredible gardens as well. Delawareans know how to create unbelievable landscapes.
Chances are, you grew up with a few in your backyard. And if you didn't have any chicks, your friends or neighbors did. Chickens are so popular in Delaware that it's nearly impossible to live in this state and not find yourself hanging out with fowl as a kid.

Not only are we the birthplace of scrapple and the largest scrapple-making state in the country, but we know how to cook it just right. Whether you're eating at home or grabbing a sandwich on the go from Wilson's General Store in Georgetown, a great scrapple-based breakfast is all you need to find to know you're in Delaware.
