8 Things No Self-Respecting Delawarean Would Ever Do
Delawareans are the best kind of people – from our small towns to our largest city, you’ll find the kindest people of all inhabiting the First State. We’re generally easy going, like we’re transplated southerners in the busy northeast. However mellow we might be, there are a few things that you’ll never catch us doing, such as the following:

No matter how far you are from Boondocks Restaurant, you'll never hear a Delawarean pass up a chance to pick crabs and drink Swamp Water on a nice summer night.

We hate shopping out of state because we've got to do math to figure out the price of the things we're trying to buy. Catch up, USA, and drop that whole sales tax nonsense.

We know that Maryland's crabcakes are world famous, but Delaware restaurants whip up some of the better ones in the region, too. The DuPont family impacted the state of Delaware in tremendous ways - from the incredible mansions to the highway system, we've got a lot to thank them for. Plus, they gave us the unbelievable Enchanted Woods, which is the best place to spend a warm afternoon. (Find the Enchanted Woods at Winterthur - 5105 Kennett Pike/Route 52, Wilmington, DE 19807.)
So, there you have it. While we’re a mellow gang, there are just some lines we won’t cross. What’s something that you’ll never be caught doing?
