Instead of breaking things, moving objects, or haunting dreams, the ghosts of Woodburn have a different medium through which they communicate. They appear dressed in colonial-era clothing, helping themselves to the best spirits in the house. A young girl wearing a red checkered dress is seen playing in the pools and fountains on the property.She was even spotted during the inauguration Governor Michael Castle in 1985.

2. Delaware's Most Haunted Restaurant in Delaware's Most Haunted Town
Delaware City is the state's most haunted town. Every hotel in the vicinity of downtown is home to resident ghosts! Patrons at Crabby Dicks restaurant frequently hear and see a friendly ghost moving things around or showing up as orbs in photos snapped here. When you visit, ask to dine in the most haunted room.
3. The Tragic Story of Maggie's Bridge
Over one hundred years ago, a young woman named Maggie was decapitated in a carriage accident while she was pregnant. Today, she still haunts a section of Woodland Church Rd outside of Seaford. Legend has it that if you stand on Maggie's Bridge and shout "Maggie, I have your baby!",
she will appear and chase you away.
