The end of summer is the best time to be a foodie in Delaware, because August and September are full of delicious, mouthwatering food festivals. There’s Peach Ice Cream Day, Cheesetoberfest, and one Delaware tradition that’s quickly becoming a favorite of everyone who’s ever eaten a burger before.
The 7th Annual Delaware Burger Battle is set to take place on August 25, 2018.
At the end of the day, trophies and medals are awarded to the team behind the best burgers. Awards are given for Critic's Choice and Crowd Favorites, as well as several other categories.
As you walk around, you'll be captivated by the smell of fresh burgers and barbeque smoke in the air. This is truly the most unique food festival around.
Some burgers return year after year - like the all time favorite Redfire Burger. The bacon makes a huge difference, so be sure to try this one in 2018.
While you may not feel great about stuffing your face with burgers all day, rest assured this is a guilt-free festival. 100% of proceeds are donated to Delaware charities, and the event is run by volunteers.
