Delaware’s beaches are famous worldwide, but Rehoboth and Dewey can get pretty crowded and rowdy in the summertime. If you’re looking for a quiet, family friendly beach in Delaware, make plans to visit Cape Henlopen in Lewes this season.
Cape Henlopen is a scenic spot in southern Delaware where you can spend time hiking through a shady forest before walking along a scenic, sandy path that will take you to one of the best little beaches in the state.
As you continue to make your way towards the ocean, you'll start to see the forest fade away and soon there's nothing but clean, warm sand wherever you look.
It's always fun to swim, splash, and play in the ocean! Kids love testing their boogie board skills, and adults enjoy being able to cool off after a day in the sun.
