The first stop in the day is at Around Again & Again Books in Wilmington, a store where books find second homes, third homes, and beyond. This shop has a passion to keep books out of landfills and in the hands of people who love them.
Even if you don't have a list of books on your to-read list to work from, the staff here is well equipped to give recommendations based on your interests.
If you have gently used books of your own and need to free up shelf space, you're welcome to donate to the shop during your visit. If you only take books home, no one will blame you. The selection is great out here!
Now that you've worked up a bit of an appetite browsing all of those books, head on over to The Terry House in New Castle. It's a short drive for a seat at the table.
With a reservation, your day can become a lot fancier when you attend afternoon tea at The Terry House. Every afternoon they have it available, you can reserve your spot to enjoy little sandwiches, treats, and tea in beautiful cups.
With your stomach full and maybe a new book in hand as well, you've had a great day out, all within this beautiful state. Who wouldn't want to spend the day finding creature comforts in tiny sandwiches and new pages?
