Fall is a great time to get out and explore Delaware’s best trails and parks! The harsh Summer sun has eased up and a breeze can be felt nearly any time you’re on the coast. Take advantage of the weather and explore the Bombay Hook Auto Tour. On your 12 mile journey, you’ll encounter plenty of places for a short hike and a gorgeous view.
Hours: The refuge is open every day from sunrise to sunset. The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm year round; closed on federal holidays. In the spring and fall, the Visitor’s Center is open on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 pm.
