I’ll admit it – buffalo wings may be my favorite food ever. So writing this article was tough, because I’ve had so many incredible wings in Delaware! I couldn’t even narrow my best-of list down to a dozen, and had to throw in one more to make it a list of the 13 best places to get wings in Delaware. Now I think I’m going to head out to whichever of these restaurants is closest to me and grab some for dinner on my way home tonight, because there really isn’t anything better than a dozen wings and a beer (or drink of your choice) after a long day at work! So, join me, and pick any of the following restaurants and grab an order or two of the best wings in Delaware.
Please note, Sheridan’s Irish Pub and Hammerheads Dockside are temporarily closed.
Please note, Pirees Piri Piri Grill is no longer in business.
Looking for the best wings in Delaware? Try the Mango Lime. Try the Medium. Try the Extra Hot. Try EVERY SINGLE WING because Piri Piri's flame-grilled chicken is the best in the state, hands down.
Step out of your comfort zone and try some of the excellent, creative wings at Bethany Blues! The Margarita Wings (above) are out of this world! These are seriously some of the best wings in Delaware, and some of the best wings I've ever had.

I normally stay away from chain restaurants on "Best Of" lists, but this family-owned location in Long Neck just kills it every single time. Every time I've eaten there, I've thought they were some of the best boneless wings in Delaware.
Pizza Pro in Hockessin takes traditional pizza shop buffalo wings to a whole 'nother level. They make the best ghost chili pepper wings in Delaware... if you're brave enough to try them.
If you're in Fenwick Island and looking for a place to grab cheap beer and an irresponsible amount of delicious buffalo wings, head over to High Stakes. The service is great, the beer selection is immense, and the wings are knock-your-socks-off good.
