Delaware is full of bars and taverns that spend their afternoons cooking up all of our favorite pub fare. Whenever I head out to one of these places, I always end up ordering the nachos. I’ve eaten giant plates of nachos in every county — and maybe even every big town — in the First State, but I always come back to the same spot when I’m looking for the best nachos in Delaware. If you’ve ever tried the plate at BBC Tavern and Grill, you know exactly why I return again and again!
BBC Tavern and Grill in Greenville is located in a small strip mall just around the corner from the DuPont Estates.
Each enormous plate is piled high melted cheese, black beans, tomatoes, lettuce, scallions, and jalapenos. You'll quickly know why many call these the best nachos in Delaware.
Their fresh homemade salsa and sour cream accompany the plate, and you can add your choice of meats as well. I think they're tastiest with shredded buffalo chicken.
The full order is enough to feed a whole table — so if you're intimidated, try a half. The half is still a mountain of nachos like you've never seen before!
You can find BBC Tavern and Grill at 4019 Kennett Pike, Greenville, DE 19807. They’re open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., and on Sundays, they open up at 11 a.m. to start off a tasty brunch menu. Be sure to visit them the next time you’re craving a cheesy, crunchy, spicy snack — you’ll soon understand why these really are the best nachos in Delaware.
