When you’re craving delicious, old-school, family style fried chicken, there’s only one place to go. Lettie’s Kitchen has been a Delaware favorite for just under a decade thanks to the owners, who have taken their family’s secret recipes and offered them to the public. The best meal served here is the old fashioned broasted chicken, with homemade sides. Check it out!
Lettie's Kitchen is a family restaurant located in a historic home in Hockessin, and here you'll find the best homestyle food around.
Lettie's Kitchen got its start, in a way, as Gormleys Market, when young Lettie Smith began to help in her family's grocery store. Lettie's daughter and grandson own Lettie's Kitchen today.
If you'd rather eat in the comfort of your own home, order a meal to-go! Their deli case of homemade soups, chili, side dishes, and more means you can have a home cooked meal any night without slaving over the stove.
Lettie’s Kitchen is located at 1318 Old Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707, across from Swift Park. You can visit for a meal, or order to-go, Monday through Friday 11 a.m to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., so be sure to stop by early!
