Most people come to DC for two reasons: history and politics. It’s what we’re really known for here. And if you want a dining experience that really showcases both of those things, along with incredible food and fascinating art, you need to head to Lincoln Restaurant. This restaurant offers an unforgettable setting and a memorable meal. Located at 1110 Vermont Ave. NW, Washington, DC, the Lincoln is a masterpiece of art, interior design and culinary delights.
In this political town, you know you will hear about some presidents and the history of the country. But in Lincoln Restaurant, you are quite surrounded by it.
From the outside, you might not even notice the building is a restaurant. Once you enter, you'll see an iconic design from local DC artist Maggie O’Neill. The design was recognized by DC Modern Luxury Magazine as the Best New Restaurant Design of 2011.
Once inside, you will probably notice one of the most memorable pieces of the entire restaurant: the floor. It’s a tiled floor made up of over one million pennies.
The Lincoln is open 11am to midnight Monday through Wednesday, 11am-2am, Thursday through Friday, 5pm to 2am on Saturday and 10:30am to 9pm on Sunday. Visit their website for more information
