But since we are in October, it is time to turn toward Halloween activities! Pumpkin picking never gets old, no matter how old you are! Visit these 13 charming pumpkin patches near Washington DC and find your perfect pumpkin this fall.
Cox Farms has a petting zoo, swings, a haunted hay ride, a corn maze and live entertainment in addition to the many beautiful pumpkins available to choose from! They are open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM.
A child-friendly farm, Ticonderoga has a huge pumpkin patch, playgrounds, petting zoos and tons of farm fun. They are open every day from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and the entrance closes at 5:00 PM.

Montpelier’s Fall Festival has plenty of attractions and activities for everyone to enjoy. There is a bouncy house, straw bale maze and plenty of pumpkins!

Clark’s Elioak Farm offers all your favorite fall activities like hayrides, a petting farm, an enchanted forest, play area and pumpkin picking! They are open daily from 10 AM - 6 PM.
For over 20 years, Burke Nursery hosts their Fall Festival & Pumpkin Playground where visitors can enjoy hayrides, a pumpkin fort, slides, playgrounds and the perfect pumpkins for picking!
Wegmeyer has over 50 different types of pumpkins you can pick in the patch or your can find in the old stone barn that was built in the 1700s. There is no fee for Wegmeyer Farm and they are open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM.
