Living in DC can be a bit stressful. There’s the high cost of living, awful traffic and there are so many tourists. We’re not saying living in DC is not great, because it is. The metro is the easiest way to get around and us Washingtonians do not have the time to be getting one trip cards every day. Instead we rely on handy SmartTrip cards to get us around.

DC is a prime spot for delicious seafood. We are able to enjoy delicious crabs from Maryland, oysters from the Chesapeake, along with so many other delicious seafood dishes that you can find all over DC!

DC’s weather can be tricky and we spent quite a bit of time dashing around DC on foot or on bike so it’s always handy to have an umbrella around.

DC just would not be the same without the gorgeous cherry blossoms that pop every spring. We would love to complain about all the tourists who come to see this gorgeous display of nature but we can’t because we love the season so much.
