Cedar Run Falls is located in the central area of Shenandoah National Park. There are a set of falls that make for perfect natural waterslides that flow into a deep swimming pool.
Cedar Run is close to the more popular Whiteoak Canyon area and most people recommend parking in that parking area in order to hike to the falls.
There’s actually two natural waterslides that you can slide down. The first one is smaller and flatter, better suited for little ones.
At the top of Halfmile Cliff, the longest slide, also known as "The Slide" drops about 20 feet down into a refreshing deep pool where you can swim and relax after your heart pounding slide.
The trails are strenuous and can get quite steep so they’re not recommended for amateur hikers.
