Let’s be honest, DC is a place where many Americans gather. It’s the capital of the United States! People from all over the country come here to work or visit and they all bring a little part of their own native state with them. Which is why we are a huge fan of the new exhibit at this beloved holiday attraction in DC. The beloved holiday attraction, the US Botanic Garden’s “Seasons Greetings” exhibit is paying special tribute to America this year and you need to see it.
The US Botanic Garden is a hidden gem in DC. Interestingly, it has one of the prime locations in DC near the Mall. But not many people know it's there.
So if you haven't gone yet, you should definitely try to visit soon. Because like many places in DC, it is decked out for the holidays.
Every year, the team at the Botanic Gardens constructs intricate train models among the flora and fauna.
They have built lifelike models based on roadside attractions around the country.
This year, the attraction pays tribute to "Roadside Attractions" around the country.
The models are incredibly lifelike and pay tribute to some of America's most unique attractions. You can see the World's Largest Baseball Bat in in Louisville, Kentucky.
Or Lucy the Elephant, who hails form New Jersey.
There are also some more well-known attractions, like Niagara Falls!
It's a fantastic way to learn about other interesting attractions around the country and learn about the different plants and flowers at the garden.
The US Botanic Garden is free to the public. It's located at 100 Maryland Ave SW, Washington, DC 20001. They are open every day from 10am to 5pm, including holidays! Take a festive trip there this year for an unforgettable attraction!
