If there is one thing we do really well here in DC, it’s eat. But we almost get a little spoiled here in the district because there’s some food that DC really does better than anywhere else. So if you leave DC, you might not miss the traffic or the political protests or the high cost of living. But you will definitely miss these foods.

Unless you move to Maryland, it’s going to be hard to find a crab cake as good as the ones here in DC!

Pupusas look completely unassuming but don’t let their humble looks fool you. These tasty treats of fried tortillas stuffed with meats and cheese are absolutely delicious. We have so many restaurants in DC that serve fantastic pupusas and they are easy to miss once you’ve left the district.

This is definitely not the ramen you can buy at the grocery store. The ramen craze hit DC a few years ago and the city never looked back. We still stand by the belief that DC’s ramen just might be the best in the country!
