There's A Huge Food Truck Festival In DC You Won't Want to Miss

Most Washingtonians love a good food truck. After all, what’s not to love about a mobile restaurant serving up delicious food in the most convenient way? The only thing that’s better than a food truck is many food trucks. We found one of the biggest and best food truck events in DC that you have to go to this October.

The DMV Food Truck Association is hosting the best food truck party of the year on Friday, October 27th from 11am-8pm.

This festival is a celebration of all the fantastic food trucks that serve Washington DC, Maryland Virginia every day.

There will be 10 local food trucks serving up their best bites in the area. In addition to great food, there will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.

Between tasting the food, visitors can listen to music from local DJ Luhan and live performers.

You can also play corn hole, jump in the bounce house or play one of the many free games that will be on site.

There will also be local artisans and retailers selling crafts, gifts, clothing, jewelry and much more.

This year Hypnotist Marc Hausman will be performing a special comedy and hypnosis show.

Also, you’ll want to watch the actual cook-off where each food truck will be competing for the Golden Spatula award. Last year’s winners were the taco truck Chef on Wheels and Korean BBQ Taco Box.

The event is free to attend but if you purchase a ticket you can enjoy four special tastings from different trucks and a drink ticket. So bring the family and friends and enjoy a deliciously fun outing at 425 M St SW on October 27!
