DC is a really great place to live… most of the time. But like every city there are some things here that are just frustrating. Admittedly, most of these revolve around transportation and getting around but here are 10 things everyone in Washington DC should avoid.
One minute you know you’re going to be at your destination on time and the next you’ve missed a turn and you know you’ll be 45 minutes late, because it will take at least 20 to get yourself turned around.
The Cherry Blossom season is one of the prettiest seasons in DC but let’s be honest, the influx of tourists can be stressful.

When many of the residents of the area are involved in politics and many of the politicians work in the area, election season is a stressful time in DC. It’s best to just stay locked in your house until it ends.

There are so many amazing restaurants in DC. From fine dining to small Mom and Pop’s, you can find everything and anything you want here. So why go to a restaurant you can find anywhere in the country?
The same goes for coffee places. With so many unique craft coffee places in the area, there’s no need for any chain coffee.
