1. Potomac Heritage Trail
The Potomac Heritage Trail is a stunning trail that connects to the Potomac Heritage Trail network of trails. The trail will take you into Virginia and offers great views of the District and the Potomac River.
2. C&O Towpath
The C&O extends 184.5 miles into Maryland. There's a beautiful spot right in Georgetown that takes you along the picturesque canal. Perfect for walking, running, hiking and biking.
3. Capital Crescent Trail
The Capital Crescent Trail in DC is an 11 mile mixed-use trail that goes from DC to Maryland. It's a popular trail that's often crowded, especially on the weekends.
4. Western Ridge Trail
