Did you know you can go zorbing right here in Connecticut? It’s true! When the weather is warm and the snow is gone, Woodbury Ski Area turns in to a summer fun zone, complete with one of the coolest and quirkiest summer activities out there. Located at 785 Washington Road, Woodbury, CT 06798, this awesome summer activity is totally worth the drive.
Please note, Woodbury Ski Area has permanently closed.
So first thing's first. What in the world is zorbing?
It's a thrilling downhill ride unlike any other. You climb in to the ball inside this inflateable ball and strap yourself in before being rolled down the hill. You'll be spun in circles on this exhilarating ride without fear of injury.
One ride will cost you $25 and two rides will cost you $45. But you can also do the money saving Zip and Roll Package for $99 which includes 2 zorbing rides, 2 zip lines, and the climbing wall.
The most fun part of this activity is that the course isn't straight downhill. You'll have to take curves outside as you're spinning around inside. It's absolutely invigorating!
The friendly staff will be there to help you in and out of the zorb (and to keep you from rolling away). Are you ready to try your hand at this increasingly popular summer activity? I know I am!
