If you’re a pizza lover, you know there are few things more satisfying on a Friday night than getting an order of pizza and wings. But, if you’re a true hot wing lover, you know that the best wings are worth the taste test on their own. This is the short story of one of the coolest Connecticut YouTube channels devoted especially to the pursuit of tasty chicken wings.
The day after Superbowl 2020, two Connecticut natives came up with a fun idea. They decided to start a community devoted to the joy of eating chicken wings. This was the video Don Peroance and Tommy Wyatt posted as the introduction to their Youtube video Wingaddicts just before they started their journey by visiting The Lodge Bar and Grill.
When restaurants began to close throughout the country, due to Coronavirus, the fun adventures could have been short-lived. With dine-in no longer an option Tommy and Don added a little creativity by supporting local restaurants by ordering take out and eating them hot and ready while using the hood of a gorgeous Jeep Wrangler as the tabletop.
Don quickly became known as "Doni the Cleaner" for his talent for cleaning the chicken meat clear off the bone. While the guys enjoy the fun, they also thought it was important to support local restaurants and try to keep them in business during these trying times.
Adding even more fun to the mix, the Wingaddicts duo soon became a trio when professional chef "Wingchef" Ryan Pasler came along to add his expert opinion. He is currently in the process of creating unique Wingaddicts sauces and making a recipe book.
After eating over 4000 wings from over 90 different restaurants, The Wingaddicts continues with their latest season on their Youtube channel. Visit their channel and subscribe, then visit the Wingaddicts community on Facebook to add your contribution to the #wingaddicts challenge.
