This turkey captured in Enfield is just out for a light jog. In fact, I come across turkey pretty often when I'm on a jog of my own.

These guys love catching the sun just as much as people do. Some people like to pick them up, but I prefer to watch from a distance.

When I have visitors from out of town, they exclaim that we have some of the largest squirrels they've ever seen. I think that's because Connecticut is so green we're actually keeping them well fed.

They don't bother you as much as some of the ones I met on my trip to California. They mostly go about their own business, which is fine by me.

These guys, on the other hand, love to make friends. I've had a lot of opportunities to snag close ups of butterflies because they will come right over to you.

This fluffy guy was spotted in New London. I think these are so cool, but they have such a serious facial expression.

These are fun to catch, but you should always put them back. One of my favorites is driving by the reservoir at night and just listening to them talk.
