With summer still hanging on and so many good beach days left in the season, it’s hard to start thinking about the winter ahead. The great people at the Old Farmer’s Almanac have just released their upcoming winter prediction and we think you’ll be really excited about the forecast for Connecticut.

If the cold temperatures had you down last year, you'll be glad to know that this year's winter is predicted to milder than last year throughout the state.

The Old Farmer's Almanac forecasts that the 2018-2019 winter will have near-normal snowfall and above average precipitation.

The coldest periods won't hit until late December into mid-January. We'll get two other cold snaps from late January through early February and again from mid-February to the latter part of the month. If you are planning a tropical getaway, these are the times to escape!
