There are plenty of things to do and places to go in Connecticut. Mystic Aquarium and Seaport, Beardsley Zoo, and Lake Compounce rank up there as the most popular destinations but what about some of the lesser-known, one-of-a-kind spots? The Nutmeg state has those too and these unique attractions are some of our favorites.
1. Frog Rock Rest Stop, Eastford
Frog Rock Rest Stop has been a roadside attraction for decades. Once just a few picnic tables and a painted rock, this spot now has so much more. 2. Rowanwood Farm Llama Hiking, Sandy Hook

4. Great Falls, Falls Village
