By living in the Nutmeg State we have some unique advantages that others in the U.S. don’t. Let’s take a look at a few reasons why we should embrace our tiny state and all of its goodness.
As one of the smallest states in the U.S., we have the advantage of being able to drive from one side to the other in just two hours. That means we can visit any town, any attraction, or any restaurant in the state in a single day. You can't do that in places like Alaska, Texas, California, and Montana.
With over 100 state parks to choose from, there is no shortage of incredible outdoor space to enjoy in the Nutmeg State.

Connecticut is home to the oldest continuously running amusement park in the United States. We can visit the park whenever we want.

Warm and buttery is how we like them in the Nutmeg state and that's how they're served. No need to worry about the mayo.
The colorful display of golds, oranges, and reds take over the tree canopy during the fall. We have some of the best leaf peeping in the country.
