The Story Behind This Haunted Cemetery In Connecticut Is Truly Creepy
I bet you’ve heard of Union Cemetery before. It has quite a reputation for being haunted and is home to the infamous White Lady. Whether you’ve seen the ghostly figure our not, all can agree that the stories of this place are pretty creepy. So creepy that this cemetery has been categorized as one of the most haunted places in America.

Located off Sport Hill Road, this place is pretty harmless during the day time. Please keep in mind that it closes at sunset, so you're free to look around but don't stay too late! Four centuries worth of graves are here, resting just beside Easton Baptist Church. Over the years, several paranormal ghost hunters have come through and claimed to have found evidence to support at least some of the stories.

According to the book's editorial review, "Graveyard chronicles a host of their most harrowing, fact-based cases of ghostly visitations, demonic stalking, heart-wrenching otherworldly encounters, and horrifying comeuppance from the spirit world." Yikes!

That's when the White Lady comes out to play. Dozens of witnesses corroborate the image of a pale thin woman with long black hair weaving between the tombstones in her flowing white gown.

Pulling pranks on passing cars! The White Lady is most known for standing in the middle of Route 59 and getting "hit." Shaken drivers hop out in a panic only to find there's no one there. Many stories exist for who this woman is, but none have been confirmed.

Someone, or something, is said to watch you from the trees. So if you see what appears to be glowing red eyes off in the distance, don't panic (too much). According to stories, it just watches. Of course no one's ever stuck around long enough to find out what they red eyes belong to.

Some folks aren't bothered by ghost stories, but this place definitely gives me the heebie jeebies! Who knows what other wandering spirits are here. With 400 years of burials there's just no telling! The only thing for sure is that this place definitely isn't for the faint of heart.
