Farmington River Tubing is a fun-filled water trip in New Hartford. The name Satan's Kingdom may be a bit daunting but don't worry, you'll stay cool and enjoy the scenic journey as you float your way down this beautiful river.
Tubing is fun for the whole family, but kids must be at least 10-years-old to participate. For safety reasons, children must also be at least 4 feet tall and weigh at least 50 lbs.
The cost is $20 per person and it includes a specially designed river tube, life jacket, and a return trip back to the starting point when you are done your cruise down the river.
You should wear comfortable clothing that is easy to swim in. Shorts and a T-shirt or a bathing suit will work best. You will also need shoes of some kind, either water shoes or an old pair of sneakers will be just fine.
As you continue down the river, you will encounter three different sets of rapids. Relax and let the tube do the work as you start moving faster towards the rocks and faster moving water.
When your journey is over, you might just want to do it again. If you just can't get enough, for an additional $10 you can tube down the river one more time.
Farmington River Tubing is typically open on weekends from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. from Memorial Day Weekend to mid-June. From mid-June through late August, they are open daily from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and from late August - Labor Day the schedule reverts back to weekends only. Always call in advance to make sure the attraction is open, closures can happen due to weather or river conditions.

Farmington River Tubing puts your safety first. You must wear a personal floatation device while on the river.
