The area is home to dozens of wildlife species. Keep your eye out for white-tailed deer, red foxes, cottontail rabbits, and mink. If you're lucky, you may even see a bald eagle or two.

Soak up the splendid atmosphere at the top of the dam. These panoramic views are awe-inspiring.
Tucked off the beaten path, Black Rock Lake is a stunning secluded oasis. You'll find the park's entrance off of Rt. 109 in Thomaston heading toward Morris.
This natural area is also a popular place to hunt.
