To the uninformed, Salem’s Garner Lake looks like any other lake. It seems like a nice place to go fishing or watch a sunset. Most people don’t know there’s an entire house sitting on the lake’s murky bottom.

Yes, you read that right: there's a house on the bottom of the lake. Back In 1895, a family decided to move their house from one side of the lake to the other.

They waited until the lake froze over and hoisted the house onto sleds to move it across the ice. They weren't able to finish the job in one day, so they left it out on the ice with plans to move it the next day.
