We are lucky enough to have so many great state parks in Connecticut that some of them end up not getting as much attention as they deserve. One of the very best, and most underrated, Nutmeg State attractions is Squantz Pond State Park. Tucked away in the hilly regions of the state, this place has absolutely stupendous scenery regardless of what time of year it is, and it’s one of the best places for kayaking in Connecticut.
