People from Connecticut are pretty awesome in my opinion. But they are also pretty unique. No matter where they are, a quick conversation is usually all it takes to find them out. Here are some signs you’ve probably met someone from Connecticut.
Maybe it's because there are so many different ways of life in the small state, but the person in the room who glides through the crowd and has no problem making friends is probably from Connecticut.
I can't explain it, but this seems to be the most popular dog in Connecticut. Almost everyone I know has one, or had one, or is getting one right now. Maybe it's because they're just so darn cute.

Folks from Connecticut have a lot of beach experience. So be prepared to say where, when, and why if you bring up a seaside excursion.
They spend most of their summers at beaches, Quassy, and Lake Compounce. Big name places like Six Flags are way overrated.

Connecticut is so safe that a number of people forget to lock doors, because they just aren't worried about it. If you're constantly asking "Did you lock the door?" then you're likely hanging out with someone from Connecticut.
