And the best part is, folks of all ages can enjoy these. No tracking sand in the car and no floaties to wear. These popular attraction spots are home to some pretty epic splashpads, which people rarely seem to remember. You can skip the rides and hikes and head straight to the splash pads at these popular Connecticut destinations.

Cool off after traversing the incredible dinosaur filled walking trail or skip the dinos and head straight to the water. This neon stop lets you shoot water out of the mouth of T-Rex and includes an exploding water volcano.

You'd be hard pressed to find a list without Ocean Beach Park on it. This state beach also features a skate park, water slides, an Olympic pool and more, but my favorite part is the very spacious splash pad. It's easy to watch the little ones at this park, as it mostly features sprinklers and leaves pretty of room to maintain sight on your little one. You also get the added bonus of being able to pack a picnic and catch ocean views.

With sculpted palm trees that rain down on you, you're guaranteed to have fun here. Usually less crowded than its competitors, this is a great one for exploring with little ones. It's a calmer oceanfront experience than Ocean Beach Park, but it's still tons of fun.
