She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). In much of New England, you can see historical artifacts. Old white Puritan churches are still standing in many of our little towns. Historic buildings abound, often now housing newer businesses. One attraction in Connecticut where you can actually see history come to life, though, is Seaport Village in Mystic. This is a 19th-century New England seaside town, with all the buildings you’d expect to see lining the streets. Shipsmiths, wood carvers, and more are all here. Strolling through the streets of this historic village will make you feel like you stepped into a time machine!
