Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). One side effect of the modern era is that we spend more time than ever in our cars (and those of us in the Nutmeg State can say most of it is spent in traffic!). But that doesn’t mean you have to be stuck on a dull, monotonous highway. We’ve got so many scenic drives in Connecticut that are perfect for getting you to where you need to go while providing some stupendous scenery along the way. One of our favorite drives in this great state is Connecticut Route 146. This short-but-sweet path measures only 13 miles, but what a beautiful 13-mile journey it is! Check it out:
